Dream incubation is a simple practice of learning to "plant a seed" in the mind, in order for a specific dream topic to occur, either for recreation or to attempt to solve a problem when you are going to sleep.

In Ancient Greece there were many sleep temples. People went there and stay for a few days to await a curative dream that would answer a particular question or heal a particular illness.
